Our History:
GCDC was formed in 1993 in order to establish a professional local community
development resource for Green County businesses and communities. The local
leaders recognized that a strong economic base was essential to the future economic
well-being of the county. The organization leveraged the resources of the county and its
municipalities and formed a multi-jurisdictional economic development corporation.
