Federal, state and local programs are in place to facilitate the technical and educational training or retraining of employees.

Wisconsin Development Fund Customized Labor Training Fund
|
The state Department of Commerce provides training grants to businesses that are implementing new technology or production processes. The program can provide up to 50 percent of the cost of customized training that is unavailable from the Wisconsin Technical College System.

Blackhawk Technical College (BTC)
|
| Blackhawk Technical College, Monroe Campus, as part of the Wisconsin Technical College System, provides technical and educational assistance to local businesses. The Staff can provide on-site customized labor training, upgrading or retraining of your current workforce, continuing adult education and technical assistance for specific employer setup, design and operational issues. BTC may be able to suggest and support alternative funding options to help finance your training plan. |
