With our library system being comprised of five Public Libraries, Green County has a very strong Library system. To meet the needs of our communities we, as a county, have joined the South Central Library System which is made up of libraries from Green, Dane, Columbia, Sauk, Adams, Portage and Wood counties. Our membership with this alliance has proven very successful and beneficial for our patrons. Between these five locations we have a total of 161,302 books within our Public Library System.
